ABOUT ABOUT

MarketShare's A Night at the Market fundraiser is a chance for us to get together over authentic Kenyan and Filipino cuisine—street market style!—catered by our two Fellows, Jackie Nkirote and Rosario Carver. We'll also feature local beer, wine and drinks, as well as a silent auction. A Night at the Market is our inaugural fundraising event with a focus on raising funds for our upcoming efforts in 2015. But it's more than raising money. This event is about having fun, connecting with people in and out of Seattle's foodie culture, and celebrating the launch Jackie and Rosario's businesses.

Tell your friends! Purchase tickets by clicking the TICKETS tab to the left. Free food and drinks (beer, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments) are included with your ticket.

MarketShare is an accredited 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization in Seattle endeavoring to empower immigrants and refugees within our community to become small business owners of their own mobile food operations. By sharing authentic cuisines from all around the world, it is our hope that these immigrant and refugee owned mobile food businesses become platforms that promote intercultural appreciation and understanding. To bring these mobile food businesses to the mainstream, MarketShare’s ultimate goal is to create a permanent indoor food market in Seattle.
